The Feather Fringe is made using 1st Grade Burnt Peacock “Herl” Feathers.
The “Herl” Feathers are expertly cut from the central Shaft and sorted as per size.
The feathers are Sized, Sorted and Cut at uniform lengths of Approx. 10” or 25cm.
The “herls” are then processed (Burnt) to remove the tiny Iridescent feathers barbs for the “herl” feather. The resulting strands are Bleached or Dyed as per customer requirements.
The Feathers are then placed between specially made Satin Bais tapes having a dual side adhesive layer.
The final fringe is further reinforced (So the feathers do not fall out) with a machine stitch.
The Unit offered is 1 Yard.
Fringes are available in lengths of 1 Yard, 2 Yards, 5 Yards and 10 Yards.
